Daniel Penry is a fourth-generation Baldwin County native and accomplished agricultural business professional. After earning a degree in Agricultural Economics from Auburn University in 2003, Daniel returned to Baldwin County to join the family business, Penry Farms Inc. Over more than 30 years of hands-on experience—from early work alongside his father and grandfather to becoming sole owner—Daniel has developed a strong expertise in agricultural finance, strategic budgeting, revenue forecasting, and securing funding to drive impressive profit-margin growth. Daniel’s collaborative leadership style, effective communication, and proven record in building partnerships with other farmers and local businesses have positioned him as a respected problem solver and mentor in the community. His in-depth knowledge of rural Baldwin County gives him a unique perspective on preserving and enhancing the region’s economic and cultural legacy. Daniel is enthusiastic about helping landowners and investors discover creative solutions for maximizing property value while maintaining the natural beauty and sustainability of Baldwin County.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Daniel enjoys spending quality time with his children, Frank, and Lois, as well as practicing guitar, traveling, and cooking.
Daniel is also an active member of his church and participates in his children’s extracurricular activities, including Lower Alabama Lacrosse, the Fairhope Middle School Band, and the Baldwin County Youth Orchestra.
