David graduated from Auburn University in 2020. After getting his degree in software engineering, he decided to pivot and focus on his interest in investments and real estate. He started working for a real estate investment trust in Birmingham, AL. He spent four years in the asset management and underwriting division for the medical focused REIT. During his time in Birmingham, he helped underwrite new deals, aggregate and report data provided by the tenants, and find new ways to analyze the data for the $20 billion in real estate assets.
In 2024, David made the decision to move back to the Mobile area to join the family business. David started at Thomas Industries with the idea of expanding the company’s commercial real estate assets. Using his relationship with the commercial roofing and general contracting businesses, David aims to develop ground up projects and acquire value-add commercial real estate where the construction can be done in-house. Shortly after starting at Thomas Industries, David joined Milling Commercial Realty. MCR’s invaluable market knowledge and David’s construction connection creates many opportunities across the Mobile area.
When he is not working, he likes to travel and spend time on Mobile Bay with his friends and family.
